Our Mission
Build Skills To Win The Game Of Life
We will CHALLENGE, encourage, and meet your child wherever they are and help them to grow and develop not only as players, but as great individuals as well. Your child will be consistently valued and held accountable for their attitude, coach-ability, work ethic, focus/listening skills, skill level, speed and quickness, and overall mental toughness.
BECOME AN MVP
We couldn’t do this without our dedicated parents, volunteers, and sponsors. So we thank you all for your commitment not only your kid’s future, but us as well.
Whether your in the stands, or on the court, we depend on you. Your donations to I.D.R.E.A.M.S. are tax-deductible and go directly toward our programing and equipment. Or, bring your skills to the table and sign up to volunteer with us.
Coach Shaun
Shaunzinski Gortman was born and raised in South Carolina to an athletic family that encouraged her to spend her childhood years playing multiple sports including basketball, softball, volleyball, and track. Despite her favorite sport being Softball, Shaunzinski excelled at basketball. From her decorated varsity high school basketball career, Coach Shaun won a basketball Scholarship to the University Of South Carolina. From there, she became the first woman ever drafted from the state of South Carolina into the WNBA.
Coach Shaun has dedicated the last 10 years mentoring and training youth in sports as well as personal development. Her dedication to mentorship pushed her to start I.D.R.E.A.M.S to give young girls the opportunity to gain life skills and scholarships through basketball.
Teamwork Makes The Dream Work
We have the best coaches around! Our number one priority is to create an environment where our players can be creative, to visualize, and to plan their futures.TRUST THE PROCESS and encourage your child to do the same. There is no easy road to GREATNESS, but we must keep going anyway!
